IT NOC (Network Operations Center) Engineer

IT MOC is the team that works round the clock & provides support around the globe. The team is operational from Pune and Montreal (Canada). We are looking for a candidate for our Pune location who is highly motivated to be a part of this growing team.

·       One who is willing to adapt and learn IT infrastructure monitoring.

·       One who has outstanding communication skills to communicate and work remotely with our internal customers based out of different location around the world and is ready to work in APAC and EMEA time zones.

·       One who has fair understanding and a working experience on windows or Linux CLI and is committed to deliver the assigned work within given SLA.

Role & Responsibilities

·       As an IT Monitoring and Operations Center Engineer, candidate will be part of a 24x7 Global monitoring team and will be responsible to monitor the critical IT infrastructure spread across various Data Centers and Offices of Dassault Systèmes worldwide.

·       Candidate will also be responsible to perform Level 1 support to manage and maintain the uptime of critical Production Infrastructure and Network equipment globally.

·       The team will cover 7 days a week; candidates should be available to work in rotational shifts including weekends and some holidays:

                            o   Morning shift : 6:00 – 15:30

                            o   Afternoon shift : 14:00 – 23:30

·       Quick understanding of the IT infrastructure, various process & policies and tools and being aligned.

·       Managing the expectations of IT and business stakeholders.

·       Managing SLA and improve user satisfaction.

·       Eager to learn new things and master the repeating task.

·       Be proactive in supporting operational needs of the team as and when needed.

Qualifications/Experience

·       Degree in Engineering, IT or similar streams.

·        1-3 years working experience in a network operation center (NOC) or technical support role.

·       Hands on experience of Linux CLI / Windows Servers. Should have good troubleshooting and diagnostic skills on Linux or Windows systems.

·       Understanding of IT environment

·       Experience with Enterprise Monitoring tools like Zabbix/Solar Winds/True Sight etc.

·       Should have working experience on any of the ticketing tools like Remedy/service now or similar tool.

·       International certification such as RHCSA/RHCE/MCSA will be an added advantage.

·       Willingness to work in a team with flexible scheduling and overtime when needed.

·       Ability to write documentation in a clear and concise way.

·       Good Team Player having a positive attitude and willing to work in a team.

·       Excellent communication skills (verbal and non-verbal) is mandatory to interact with our users worldwide.
