In September 2021, Dassault Systèmes was assessed by Sustainalytics to be at Low risk of experiencing material financial impacts from ESG factors. Our ESG Risk Rating places us in the 5th decile within our industry, and in the 9th decile among rated companies globally assessed by Sustainalytics.
As of Nov 12th, 2021, Dassault Systèmes entered into the Dow Jones Sustainability World Index, reaching the 97th percentile of the global software sector in the S&P Global Corporate Sustainability Assessment.
In 2021, we obtained an overall score of 72/100 on the ECOVADIS assessment questionnaire for 2020, which places us at the 98th percentile rank, over-performing compared to the other industries in the same sector on all the 4 themes: environment, labor & human rights issues, sustainable procurement and ethics.
In 2021, Dassault Systèmes, along with over 13,000 companies, disclosed its climate change related data for Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP), and have been awarded A- for Supplier Engagement Rating.
CDP is a global non-profit organization that runs the world’s leading environmental disclosure platform.
We are listed in MSCI ESG Ratings, and confirmed our ‘’AA’’ rating in September 2021. An MSCI ESG Rating is designed to measure a company’s resilience to long-term, industry material environmental, social and governance (ESG) risks. MSCI ESG Ratings range from leader (AAA, AA), average (A, BBB, BB) to laggard (B, CCC).
Dassault Systèmes has been ranked 18th out of 48th in Information Technology sector among the 2022 Carbon Clean 200. For many years we have been consistently recognized as one of the world’s 200 most sustainable companies in terms of “cleaner revenue”. Our software provides a positive impact by helping our customers go green in their operations and the broader economy.
In 2021, we were ranked by VE 7th out of 83th among Software sector companies in Europe in terms of ESG performance (+4 places compared to 2020). We received a score of 72/100 in terms of Energy Transition, and an “A” rating for our Carbon Footprint.
