We are listed in MSCI ESG Ratings, and confirmed our ‘’AA’’ rating in September 2021. An MSCI ESG Rating is designed to measure a company’s resilience to long-term, industry material environmental, social and governance (ESG) risks. MSCI ESG Ratings range from leader (AAA, AA), average (A, BBB, BB) to laggard (B, CCC).
A rating of C as part of ISS ESG Ratings in January 2020, which ranks us in the 1st decile within the Software & IT Services industry. ISS’ assessment of a company’s sustainability performance is based on approximately 100 criteria, selected specifically for each industry. A decile rank of 1 indicates a high ESG performance relative to a company’s industry, while a 10 indicates a lower relative ESG performance.
We have been rated as ‘’Low Risk’’ in terms of ESG by Sustainalytics, which places us in the 9th decile among rated companies globally, and in the 5th decile within our industry (1st decile = lowest risk).
In 2020, we were ranked 11/83 among Software sector companies.
We are a constituent of the FTSE4Good Index, and received a rating of 3.7 in September 2020. This places us at the 69th percentile rank.
The FTSE4Good Index Series is designed to measure the performance of companies demonstrating strong Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) practices. Scores range from 0 to 5 (higher scores are better).
