‘Reach New Frontiers’ at DEVCON 2007, the Dassault Systèmes Annual Developers’ Conference, June 26 & 27, 2007

Developers and Ecosystem Partners to Benefit from Strategic Technology Information at Two-day Paris Event

Paris, France, May 24, 2007-Dassault Systèmes (DS) (Nasdaq: DASTY; Euronext Paris: #13065, DSY.PA), a world leader in 3D and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solutions, today announced the dates of its seventh annual DEVCON Conference, where developers, managers and partners can meet and learn the latest information about DS’s key technological advances, in Paris on June 26-27, 2007 at the Palais des Congrès.

Dassault Systèmes will be making a strategic technology announcement at the event, with similar magnitude to last year’s announcement. Participants will also learn more about DS’s PLM SOA Enterprise Middleware with ENOVIA MatrixOne 10.7.1, 3DLive and the latest in online collaborative intelligence; gain insight into the role simulation plays with PLM thanks to SIMULIA’s Unified Finite Element Analysis solutions; and see private previews of Virtools' next generation solutions, which are currently being developed for the Xbox 360 and PS3 consoles. This rich program is designed to address the full family of DS developers, including customers using MatrixOne, Abaqus, Virtools, and more.

"The conference reinforces DS’s worldwide commitment to helping our customers and partners grow their businesses within the DS ecosystem," says Dominique Florack, senior executive vice president, Product R&D, Dassault Systèmes. "It’s an efficient way to hear the very latest information on the Dassault Systèmes portfolio of solutions and technologies, thus extending businesses’ reach to reach new frontiers."

DEVCON, the Dassault Systèmes annual developers’ conference, which also supports and unites the CAA Software Community, continues to gain momentum: the sixth edition in 2006 saw 20 percent growth in attendance, demonstrating the heightened interest across all sectors and technology suppliers, as well as the increased necessity for advanced 3D PLM solutions to compete in today’s global economy. Keynotes will be provided by DS executives, customers and partners, sharing their vision and experiences.

The CAA program is part of Dassault Systèmes’ powerful ecosystem of alliances and partnerships. Dassault Systèmes recruits software and technology partners to provide customers with the most comprehensive and integrated array of applications in the industry, to design and simulate the virtual product, plan, create and monitor its production, and manage its life cycle. The CAA community continues to successfully expand with now over 6,000 developers using CAA, more than 150 companies issuing over 450 specialized software products to extend the Dassault Systèmes’ PLM portfolio across CATIA, ENOVIA, SIMULIA and DELMIA V5.
