IBM Global Services Becomes Dassault Systemes Premier Product Lifecycle ManagementConsulting Partner
Somers, New York, and Paris, France. January 24, 2002 - Dassault Systemes (NASDAQ: DASTY; Euronext Paris: #13065, DSY.PA) and IBM today announced that IBM Global Services has become a Dassault Systemes Premier Consulting Partner. This agreement strengthens a 20-year relationship and reflects a long-held recognition on the part of the world’s largest information technology services organization that PLM represents a rapidly developing market opportunity due to its key importance for all manufacturing industries. <br/>
As a consequence, both companies will be in a position to deliver more complete PLM solutions combining IBM PLM Services expertise and offerings, and Dassault Systemes’ 3d PLM solutions including CATIA, ENOVIA and SmarTeam.<br/>
Part of IBM’s Business Innovation Services unit, the IBM PLM Services practice offers end-to-end transformation services.
