The growth plan underscores IBM and Dassault Systemes’ commitment to addressing customer needs in the growing PLM market. Under the agreement, IBM will increase sales and pre-sales resources significantly. The agreement calls for Dassault Systemes to dedicate 135 technical specialists who will support IBM sales teams and continue to develop the seamless integration of 3D PLM products including CATIA, ENOVIA, DELMIA, and SMARTEAM.
Following recent important customer wins such as Toyota, Volvo Truck, and EADS, the two companies are gearing up resources to address customer demand in the expanding PLM market.
