IBM and Dassault Systemes Host Asia’s Largest PLM User Forum - July 18-19th in Tokyo

2002 Japan CATIA Forum committed to help companies become more competitive with Product Lifecycle Management solutions.
More than 3000 participants expected.

 

Tokyo, Japan and Paris, France – July 15, 2002 - IBM and Dassault Systemes (Nasdaq: DASTY; Euronext Paris: #13065, DSY.PA) today announced that the 2002 Japan CATIA Forum (JCF) will be held from July 18 to 19th at Le Meridien Grand Pacific hotel in Tokyo, Japan.  JCF is the largest user conference for PLM industry in Japan. 2002 JCF will offer participants the latest information on PLM products, technologies, and market strategies, as well as customer success stories. <br/>

 

 

IBM Product Lifecycle Management and Dassault Systemes will organize more than 30 sessions during the two-day event.  The latest innovations and advancements with CATIA, DELMIA, ENOVIA and SMARTEAM solutions will be presented and 10 sessions will focus on customer testimonials.  Keynote speakers including representatives from Toyota Industry Corporation and Panasonic will present their PLM experiences during the general session on the first day of 2002 JCF. All first day sessions will be simultaneously translated into English and Japanese.<br/>

 

 

The conference will offer other exciting features:  ‘Try! CATIA World’, a hands-on CATIA V5 session during the conference will allow attendees to experience CATIA V5’s most advanced capabilities and ease of use.   JCF attendees will also be able to explore the Technifair, where IBM and Dassault Systemes technology partners will demonstrate their latest contributions to the PLM portfolio of solutions.<br/>
