ENOVIA to Demonstrate New VPDM Capabilities at AUTOe Conference
New ENOVIA VPM Navigator product integrates ENOVIA’s virtual product definition into CATIA’s easy-to-use design environment
Charlotte, NC, April 22, 2004 – Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and decision support solutions provider ENOVIA Corp., a Dassault Systèmes company (Nasdaq: DASTY: Euronext Paris: #13065, DSY.PA) will demonstrate its new ENOVIA VPM Navigator product during the annual University of Michigan AUTOe conference, April 28-29, at the MSU-Management Education Center in Troy, Michigan.
AUTOe is two-day conference for automotive CIOs and focuses on delivering a pragmatic view of the state of information technologies within the auto industry.
ENOVIA’s new ENOVIA VPM Navigator product provides unprecedented data management capabilities from within the familiar CATIA environment. The ENOVIA VPM Navigator product enables design engineers to seamlessly design in-context within a collaborative workspace. The unified PLM workspace empowers teams to work more closely together during the critical product development phases, resulting in faster and easier “right first time” collective product innovation.
The AUTOe conference is held in conjunction with CIMdata, Inc. (a leading worldwide strategic PLM consulting firm) and co-sponsored by IBM and Dassault Systèmes. The first day will begin with an IBM-Dassault Systèmes-sponsored breakfast, followed by key presentations from major automotive OEM and supplier executives. The second day will focus on PLM in the automotive industry, with key presentations from CIMdata, case studies from OEMs and suppliers, and vendor panel discussions featuring both Dassault Systèmes and IBM executives.
