ENOVIA announces Lou Pascarella appointed Executive VP, Research and Development
Suresnes, France, and Charlotte, NC, USA, February 23, 2001 – Dassault Systemes (Nasdaq : DASTY, Euronext Paris # 13065, DSY.PA), today announced that Louis J. Pascarella has joined ENOVIA as Executive Vice President, Research and Development. <br/>
Mr. Pascarella joins ENOVIA with nearly twenty-five years of manufacturing product development, product data management (PDM) and collaboration experience. Reporting to Joel Lemke, ENOVIA Chief Executive Officer and Bruno Latchague, Executive Vice President, Research and Development, Dassault Systemes, Mr. Pascarella will have worldwide responsibility for all ENOVIA related research and development activities.<br/>
Mr. Pascarella was most recently Chief Technology Officer of FanBall.com. Prior to this, he was Chief Technology Officer and co-founder of auxillium inc., which was acquired by Parametric Technologies in 1999.<br/>
In addition to the roles listed above, Mr. Pascarella held leadership positions at Ford and TRW and was responsible for PDM development and implementations. While with CDS (Control Data Systems), Mr. Pascarella was responsible for PDM development and deployment of Metaphase to various customer sites. Lou has a Bachelor of Science Degree in math and physics.
