Denis Senpere joins Dassault Systemes as Vice President, ENOVIA European Operations

 

Suresnes, France, and Charlotte, NC, USA,  February 20, 2001 – Dassault Systemes  (Nasdaq : DASTY, Euronext Paris # 13065, DSY.PA,) announced today that Denis Senpere has joined the Company as Vice President, ENOVIA European Operations. Mr.  Senpere brings many years of sales and operations management experience within CAD/CAM, PDM, IT and Integration Services environments to Dassault Systemes. <br/>

 

 

Mr. Senpere holds a degree in Civil Engineering from the prestigious Ecole des Mines in Paris. He started his career in offshore engineering before joining Apollo Computer Inc. as Regional Manager in 1985. Mr. Senpere worked with  Ferranti Infographics Ltd. as Director of Southern European Operations until 1992. He then joined Matra Datavision SA in France, a French CAD/CAM software editoring company, as Vice President, sales and marketing and was later promoted to Executive Vice President. Instrumental in the strategic move of  Matra Datavision into an alliance with IBM and Dassault Systemes, Mr. Senpere successfully led implementions of Dassault Systemes solutions at major customers. <br/>

 

 

Denis Senpere directly reports to both Etienne Droit, Executive Vice President of sales and marketing for Dassault Systemes, and Joel Lemke, CEO of ENOVIA.<br/>

 

 

The strong business development of ENOVIA during 2000 now requires a focused team in Europe with dedicated resources and experienced management to further expand Dassault Systemes’ market share.  Mr. Senpere’s knowledge and past experience will highly contribute to ENOVIA’s success  and growth in Europe.
