Dassault Systèmes Awards TransCAT Certified Education Partner Status
German division of RAND Worldwide authorized to customize PLM courseware
Karlsruhe, Germany and Paris, France – Sept. 23, 2004 - Dassault Systèmes (Nasdaq: DASTY; Euronext Paris: #13065, DSY.PA), the world’s leading developer of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solutions, today announced that it has awarded TransCAT GmbH & Co. KG, the German division of RAND Worldwide, its Certified Education Partner (CEP) designation.
The Dassault Systèmes Education Partner Program provides partners with a platform for teaching the effective implementation and use of PLM solutions, thereby helping their customers realize the process-centric value of Dassault Systèmes’ products and solutions. The CEP label is the highest qualification that can be reached by a member of the program, which is comprised of a growing network of more than 95 companies with more than 800 teachers in 32 countries.
Certified Education Partners such as TransCAT are the only training providers authorized to customize Dassault Systèmes’ official courseware. These partners earn this qualification from their proven capabilities in implementing comprehensive blended learning programs. For one client, TransCAT successfully implemented the Companion Web-based learning environment for CATIA, ENOVIA and SMARTEAM within the company’s global infrastructure. This learning environment is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to users worldwide.
“TransCAT has more than 15 years of experience in implementing and supporting CATIA as a premier partner supporting Dassault Systèmes’ entire PLM portfolio,” said Gerhard Keller, managing director of TransCAT Germany. “PLM education is part of our core business, and our customers expect a highly skilled partner for their V5 implementations.”
“Quality educational programs provide a key complement to the competitive advantages that PLM solutions offer,” said Philippe Forestier, executive vice president, Dassault Systèmes. “TransCAT’s expertise in Dassault Systèmes’ portfolio of education solutions will prove to be very valuable for the company’s customers as they reap return on investment from their PLM solutions.”
