Dassault Systemes and MSC.Software redefine the PLM Analysis and Simulation market

MSC.Software to develop its new generation Analysis and Simulation software on Dassault Systemes' Version 5 Architecture (CAA V5)

 

Suresnes (France), and Los Angeles (USA), April 24, 2001 – Dassault Systemes S.A (Nasdaq: DASTY; Euronext Paris: #13065, DSY.PA) and MSC.Software (Nyse:MNS) today announced the signing of a strategic alliance where MSC.Software will develop its new generation of simulation solutions using DS' Version 5 Architecture. MSC.Software together with DS and DS's existing CAE partners will deliver the largest and most advanced PLM integrated Analysis and Simulation portfolio available on the market. As part of this alliance MSC.Software will also act as a strategic distribution channel, for the joint Version 5 Analysis and Simulation portfolio with dedicated and specialized skills, complementing the existing IBM PLM channel for DS' products.
