IMSpost postprocessing software transforms the cutter location data that is generated from CATIA V5, into the specific machine codes that are required to operate all types of numerically controlled machine tools. IMS will provide a complete library of postprocessors for use with CATIA V5, along with access to IMS's state-of-the-art postprocessor development software and configuration tools.
Dassault Systemes is committed to providing their customers with best-in-class scalable products. Integrating IMS's state-of-the-art capabilities into CATIA V5 applications offers the user a unique and powerful solution to generate the data necessary to run their machine tools. The IMSPost technology is now integrated into CATIA Version 5 NC Manufacturing products already available on the market, and ready to generate numerical control code for 3 axis and 5 axis machines tools.
