Dassault Systèmes and Centric Software Form CAA V5 Software Partnership for Innovation Management

Centric Software to provide 3D Collaborative Dashboard for decision-making within V5 PLM environment

San Jose, USA and Paris, France – March 1, 2004 – Dassault Systèmes (Nasdaq: DASTY; Euronext Paris: #13065, DSY.PA) announced today the signing of a CAA V5 Software partnership with Centric Software, a market leader in Innovation Management. Centric Software will develop, market, and sell Innovation Management solutions based on the Dassault Systèmes V5 PLM suite. Through the partnership, Centric Software will provide V5 users with portfolio and program management capabilities through a 3D Collaborative Dashboard.

The 3D Collaborative Dashboard is the virtual equivalent of a war or project room that facilitates decision-making. Users are able to directly access all V5 information within the context of the product program and conduct “what if” scenarios. The 3D Collaborative Dashboard ensures that all team members have a common view of the program objectives. It brings together distributed product content, while enabling project teams to explore and validate different product possibilities.

Centric Software Innovation Management technologies are tightly integrated with ENOVIA, Dassault Systèmes’ life cycle management solution. It is comprised of ENOVIA Portal for 3D collaboration and decision support, ENOVIA Hubs for the capture and management of knowledge on products, processes and resources, and ENOVIA Lifecycle Applications for management of collaborative PLM processes.

Centric Software V5 based applications enable executives to monitor business and engineering information and changes across multiple programs. Program managers are able to track progress against milestones and resolve conflicts. Finally, domain specialists are able to review new ideas and validate new product concepts.
