CSC and Dassault Systemes Establish Strategic Alliance Around ENOVIA Solutions

Customers to benefit from product lifecycle management solutions that unleash creativity and innovation within the digital enterprise

El Segundo, California (USA), and Paris, France, 7 December 2000--Computer Sciences Corporation (NYSE: CSC) and Dassault Systemes (NASDAQ: DASTY, Bourse de Paris) announced today a strategic alliance built around Dassault Systemes’ ENOVIA Portfolio of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solutions. Under the agreement, CSC and Dassault Systemes will offer these solutions to companies that need to address the challenges of product lifecycle management.

The ENOVIA Portfolio enables companies to increase innovation and optimize product lifecycle costs. CSC intends to provide its implementation and integration experience with ENOVIA to North American aerospace and defense customers through a new competency center. The CSC center, dedicated to world-class integration around ENOVIA, will offer services such as systems integration, business analysis, application customization and development, system architecture and database management.

Initially, the alliance will focus on leveraging ENOVIA’s strengths in key processes such as collaborative design, engineering change management, document management, requirements management and full product lifecycle management. CSC’s systems integration skills combined with the ENOVIA Portfolio will allow customers to improve their competitiveness and shareholder value by rapidly deploying these collaborative solutions.
