User Success Engineering Senior Manager
Role Description
Dassault Systèmes is seeking a User Success Engineering Senior Manager to work closely with global customers and internal teams to ensure smooth adoption, deployment, and usage of the 3DEXPERIENCE platform. You will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to provide technical support and solutions across a variety of applications, driving customer satisfaction and long-term success.
Responsibilities
· Act as an escalation point for high-impact customer issues involving networking infrastructure, latency, throughput, and load balancing failures
· Lead deep-dive troubleshooting efforts across network, application, and infrastructure layers
· Guide and review the configuration and optimization of load balancing systems (NGINX, HAProxy, F5, AWS ELB, etc.)
· Partner with other teams to influence system reliability and scalability
· Provide mentorship and technical guidance to support engineers
· Help define support best practices and contribute to postmortems and root cause analysis
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline) with strong knowledge in:
o Multi-tier architecture
o Enterprise software
o J2EE application deployment and administration
· 8+ years of experience in technical support, systems/network engineering, or infrastructure operations
o Must include at least one year of real-world experience maintaining a production system
· Advanced understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S, TLS, routing, firewall rules, and packet-level debugging
· Hands-on experience with load balancer technologies, reverse proxies, and traffic shaping
· Strong Linux expertise and proficiency in scripting for diagnostics (e.g., Bash, Python)
· Familiarity with performance monitoring tools (e.g., tcpdump, Wireshark, perf, Grafana, Prometheus)
· Strong understanding of multi-tier web applications, protocols, and networking layers
· Solid debugging and troubleshooting skills
· For customer requirements, candidates must be U.S. Citizens or U.S. Permanent Residents
Additional Skills:
· Experience with cloud solutions deployment and support
· Familiarity with cloud-native networking (AWS VPC, Transit Gateway, Route 53, etc.)
· Cloud networking experience in AWS, GCP, or Azure (VPC, ELB, Transit Gateway, etc.)
· Knowledge of CDN architectures and edge traffic management
· Experience supporting applications with underlying technologies such as Windows, Linux, Oracle/SQL Server, Java applications, and Windows Application Add-ins
· Ability to quickly shift from micro to macro perspective to understand how localized issues connect to larger systemic problems
Compensation for the role will be commensurate with experience. The total expected compensation range will be between $110,000 and $155,000 representing the base salary (or annualized salary based on estimated hourly compensation) and target bonus.
