Role description & Responsibilities
- Assist in defining system requirements and functional specifications for mechatronic systems
- Contribute to the architectural design and decomposition of complex systems, identifying interfaces between mechanical, electrical, and software subsystems
- Use Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools and approaches for system modeling and analysis
- Support analysis and simulation of integrated mechatronic system behavior (e.g., control systems, robotics, automation, multi-physics interactions)
- Collect, process, and analyze data from simulations and integrated tests to validate designs and predict system performance
- Prepare detailed technical reports, specifications, and presentations on system design, analysis, and testing
- Conduct research on emerging systems engineering methods, mechatronic technologies, and integration techniques
- Maintain organized project files and data within the 3DEXPERIENCE platform for traceability
Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering & Computer Science or equivalent
- Experience with hands-on projects in robotics, automation, embedded systems, or smart devices (academic or personal)
- Strong industrial engineering background
- Familiarity with simulation tools for integrated system analysis (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink)
- Solid understanding of mechatronic components: sensors, actuators, microcontrollers, and control theory
- Basic programming skills in Python, C++, MATLAB, or Arduin
