The role is a Business Process Analyst within Dassault Systèmes’ Information Systems group, focusing on the PeopleSoft ERP modules for OTC (Order To Cash), PTP (Procure‑to‑Pay), and ESA (Enterprise Supplier Application). The analyst serves as a bridge between the business community and the IT organization, translating business needs into functional requirements and ensuring effective system delivery and support.
Key Responsibilities
- Liaison & Relationship Building – Work with business process owners to understand and challenge their needs, proposing efficient IT solutions.
- Requirement Analysis & Documentation – Conduct gap analyses, define functional requirements, write technical specifications (alone or with development teams), and prepare recommendations/proposals.
- Support & Maintenance – Handle Level‑2 incidents, drive ongoing system enhancements (modules and integrations), configure solutions on‑demand, and advise business customers.
- Project Management – Build project plans based on specifications, sequence development steps, schedule and monitor delivery, lead arbitrations, run integration tests, manage dependencies, and oversee deployment until go‑live.
- Testing & Training – Develop and manage test plans, create training documents and user guides, and conduct “train‑the‑trainer” sessions (leveraging 3DEXPERIENCE University).
- Release Management – Define content for each drop/release.
- Technological Intelligence – Monitor market trends, produce benchmarks/competition reports, anticipate future needs, champion new solutions, and stay aligned with the IT roadmap and release cadence.
Qualifications & Experience
- 3‑5 years in a similar domain, preferably with hands‑on PeopleSoft ERP configuration and setup (not just end‑user use).
- BE/BTech (or equivalent).
- Domain Knowledge: Exposure to finance processes such as P2P (Procure‑to‑Pay), R2R (Record‑to‑Report), OTC (Order‑to‑Cash), Travel & Expense, and ESA.
- Core Skills: Business process analysis, requirement gathering, solution design, continuous improvement; strong PS Query and SQL proficiency; analytical and problem‑solving abilities, excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Additional Competencies: Agile project management, business requirements techniques, software specification analysis, business acumen, customer relationship building, alignment of software with system architectures, creation of business process and data models, and definition of software architecture.
