To pioneer the digital transformation of industry and build the digital workforce of the future, Dassault Systèmes has partnered with Purdue University to create the 3DEXPERIENCE Edu Center of Excellence in Advanced Composites. Located in the prestigious Composites Manufacturing and Simulation Center (CMSC) in the Purdue University Research Park, this center leverages state-of-the art manufacturing systems and the capabilities of Dassault Systèmes’ 3DEXPERIENCE platform to advance the creation of digital twins of manufacturing processes and to advance the digital systems enterprise.
As a part of the 3DEXPERIENCE Edu Center of Excellence Global Program, the CMSC’s goal is to enable current and future workforces to accelerate the digital transformation of industry. To achieve this, the CMSC uses Dassault Systèmes software to build digital twins of state-of the art fiber-reinforced composite manufacturing processes.
The 3DEXPERIENCE Edu Center of Excellence in Advanced Composites supports:
The strategic partnership between Dassault Systèmes and Purdue University hosts graduate and undergraduate students, as well as industry professionals who collaborate, enable new learning models backed by digital practices, and improve the skills of the current and future engineering workforce. 13,000 square feet of the state-of-the art facility is dedicated to composites manufacturing and testing in aerospace and automotive lab spaces. Located in the Purdue Research Park, the CMSC allows leading industry minds to interact with the world-class Purdue team around composites design, manufacturing, modeling, and simulation.
Together, we’ll introduce Industry Renaissance
3DEXPERIENCE Edu Centers of Excellence are facilities run by Dassault Systèmes partners, where up-to-date, industry-relevant 3DEXPERIENCE knowledge and know-how is combined with their own expertise and provided for learners through initial or continuing learning programs.
