LACI focuses on three key pillars: unlocking innovation, enhancing community, and transforming markets.

LACI supports new cleantech startups with wrap-around services, and also provides workforce training to the surrounding neighborhoods, uplifting the community and creating an employee pipeline to help scale these new solutions. In the same breath, LACI works with key regulators and policymakers to influence policy that will encourage adoption.  

With a robust network of partners and donors, cities turn to LACI for expertise in identifying, implementing, and piloting sustainable solutions tailored to local needs.

Since 2024, LACI has been an accelerator partner of the 3DEXPERIENCE Lab, with a joint mission of spreading clean energy and sustainability solutions by providing the necessary tools startups need to build and scale faster. LACI runs a two-year incubation program, with a focus on hardware and integrated hardware/software solutions. 

LACI also offers multiple training courses and fellowships throughout the year focused on building skills for the green economy. Their Product Design and Development cohort offers students a chance to learn new skills in SOLIDWORKS and opportunities to receive industry-recognized certifications. 

The 3DEXPERIENCE Lab helps provide easy access to Dassault Systèmes solutions for LACI's startups and workforce participants.
 

Through LACI’s various programs, the nonprofit supports climate-tech startups with critical business support services, funding opportunities, and product development tools to scale their technologies and bring new sustainable solutions to market.
