The AutoForm-CATIA5 module directly integrates AutoForm software and AutoForm parameters into CATIA V5, making two programs associatively linked. User control of AutoForm and the management of simulation files are partially transferred to CATIA. This integration not only greatly improves the speed and efficiency of design and engineering cycles, but also improves the consistency of part data in CATIA and the consistency of process data in AutoForm. Surfaces, curves and tipping information are transferred from AutoForm to CATIA V5, and the corresponding process layout is stored in the CATIA V5 part document. Similarly, surfaces, curves and tipping information are transferred from CATIA V5 to AutoForm to update and store the part geometry and to provide process information.The main features of AutoForm-CATIA5 include:*Rapid development of die faces can be done in CATIA V5 starting from an AutoForm 4D-Process-Layout. Completed die face designs as well as wireframes are automatically transferred from AutoForm to CATIA V5. *Process layout is intuitively and quickly defined and provided in the CATIA V5 structure tree. Thus, active surfaces and other geometric process data, designed with CATIA V5 can be linked with this CATIA V5 process layout. And a forming simulation could be started at any time. *Automatic updating of the entire data chain - from CATIA part geometry through die faces to AutoForm simulations - greatly reduces die development time. Due to this associative link, several alternative tooling concepts can be validated in just one day.

Theorem’s bi-directional CADverter V6 NX CADverter reads and writes both V6 and Siemens NX data, converting assembly data (product structure) Exact Brep solids and surfaces, tessellated data, PMI (product manufacturing information) and colour.The V6 NX CADverter integrated within the V6 environment enables bi-directional file and PDM collaboration scenarios. It can be used interactively or in batch mode depending upon a user's requirements. As standard, this particular product has been designed specifically to be incorporated into process oriented operations and so is integrated and runs under the management of the V6 infrastructure.The V6 converted data can then be used anywhere within the V6 environment, in all applications (CATIA, DELMIA, SIMULIA, ENOVIA) enabling supply chains with mixed V6 and NX environments the ability to collaborate more efficiently.Theorem’s CADverter also provides the ability to convert NX into 3DXML files for collaboration with all applications collaborating through this format, such as CATIA, DELMIA, SIMULIA, ENOVIA, 3DVIA and 3DSWYM.

All CATIA V6 data is stored in Dassault Systèmes’ PDM (Product Data Management) system “ENOVIA”, which means access to ENOVIA is a prerequisite to handling the V6 data within. Direct translation of CATIA V6 data stored in ENOVIA is realized to be possible by using “xCAD”. Elysium is one of only two translation vendors in the world to complete an agreement with Dassault Systems with license to develop a 3D data translator by utilizing “xCAD”.For a robust CATIA V6 translation, Elysium uses “xCAD” to convert various elements of CATIA V6 while utilizing its current technical know-how that has been achieved with experience and history of translation with CATIA V4 and V5.

Motion Capture for Human Tasks (also called “IPSI for V6” or simply “IV6”) is a tool enabling the streaming of Motion Capture data into V6, in order to animate human models in real-time.The first benefit of IV6 is the ability to create new human skills, based on the real motion of a human operator. The human operator performs the task at real speed, and the system generates a Gesture Activity containing the sequence of postures with a high degree of details, up to 100 key-frames per second if needed.But the real power of the solution lies in the first-person experience for the human operator. Through the motion capture device, he is controlling the human model as an avatar of his own body. When combined with a head-mounted-display (HMD) or an immersive visualization device, the operator can see the CAD model through the eyes of the avatar, and manipulate objects with its hands.Depending on the scenario, the avatar may have the same anthropometry as the operator, or a very different one. But even with differing body sizes, the system generates relevant postures, thus greatly simplifying validation studies such as reachability, visibility, accessibility, etc.The human model is not just a visual avatar, but a real actor of the 3D environment. It can pick and place objects, operate tools, push furniture around, etc. Moreover, the physics simulation ensures that the avatar does not pass through obstacles, but stops at their contact and slides on their surface. Therefore, the resulting animation is always free of clash.End of supportThe product enters its final year of maintenance starting in January 2026. As of December 31, 2026, it will no longer be supported and can no longer be deployed. The last supported platform level will be 3DEXPERIENCE R2027x.
