Instructors developed expertise in applying Dassault Systèmes blended learning solutions and completed certification process
Paris, France and Mississauga, Canada - March 24, 2005 - Dassault Systèmes (Nasdaq: DASTY; Euronext Paris: #13065, DSY.PA), the world’s leading developer of product lifecycle management (PLM) solutions, today announced that RAND Worldwide has completed the highest quality and performance requirements for its PLM education activities and has been awarded the Certified Education Partner (CEP) designation for North America.
“It is very valuable for RAND to have a strategic relationship with Dassault Systèmes for education,” said Joe Oswald, executive vice president, RAND Worldwide. “Being a Certified Education Partner allows us to combine the content of Dassault Systèmes’ education material with our recognized skills in curriculum development. This collaboration results in an excellent offering for our customers."
The CEP label is the highest qualification that can be reached by a member of Dassault Systèmes’ Education Partner Program (EPP). The EPP is made up of a growing network of more than 110 companies in 34 countries with 900 teachers, who provide education and training on Dassault Systèmes’ CATIA, ENOVIA, and SMARTEAM PLM solutions.
The certification of instructors, required to obtain the CEP label, was easily accomplished by RAND’s expert team, composed of full-time instructors mastering both instructional skills and knowledge about Dassault Systèmes’ PLM solutions.
RAND also built up its skills in developing e-Learning courses based on Dassault Systèmes’ award winning “Companion” environment and is now among the selected companies capable of providing blended education involving all Dassault Systèmes learning solutions, including classroom education and e-Learning and certification.
“With its ASCENT division, RAND Worldwide has grown into a leader in the development and customization of training solutions for engineers,” Xavier Fouger, director, PLM Academy, Dassault Systèmes. “With RAND, we welcome a Certified Education partner that combines excellent skills in instructional design as well as in classroom and e-learning education delivery”
