Dassault Systèmes Names Florence Verzelen Executive Vice President, EMEA

Dassault Systèmes announced that Florence Verzelen, 47, has been named Executive Vice President, Europe, Middle East, Africa, reporting to Pascal Daloz, CEO.
Florence Verzelen is responsible for leading the company’s EMEA group, working closely with regional executives to accelerate growth and generate new opportunities as the company expands its products and services across industries and businesses. She will continue to oversee the company’s infrastructure and cities sector, enabling customers in multiple industries to leverage 3D UNIV+RSES in their creation and manufacturing of products and services for the generative economy.
Florence Verzelen brings nearly three decades of experience and leadership to her new role, including seven years as a member of Dassault Systèmes’ executive committee with responsibilities across industry, marketing, services, education and sustainability. Notably, she was the driving force in the development of Dassault Systèmes’ sustainability roadmap and the launch of its 3DEXPERIENCE Edu department.
Prior to joining Dassault Systèmes, Florence Verzelen held positions at the European Commission, the office of the Secretary of State for European Affairs, and later Engie, becoming CEO of Qatar and then COO of Europe and Russia.
She is a board member of Nexity, the Centre National d’Études Spatiales (France’s Space Agency), France 2030, and the lnstitut Montaigne think tank. She graduated from France’s École Polytechnique - Corps des Mines. Florence Verzelen is also a Knight of the French Order of Merit.
