Dassault Systèmes Names Fabrice Canonge CEO of Centric Software

Fabrice Canonge > Dassault Systèmes

Dassault Systèmes announced the appointment of Fabrice Canonge, 53, as Chief Executive Officer of its brand Centric Software. Canonge succeeds Chris Groves, who founded Centric Software in 2004 and will now move into a senior advisory role with Dassault Systèmes.

Canonge will be responsible for defining and expediting the brand’s strategic software as a service roadmap to meet customers’ evolving demands, and for expanding its market leadership with a new generation of AI-powered solutions on the cloud.

With nearly three decades of experience in business development in the software industry, Canonge brings specific expertise in the apparel, high-fashion, luxury goods and retail sectors. He joined Centric Software in 2004 to lead its European operations, and was later named Executive Vice President of Global Sales and Marketing before becoming Chief Operating Officer and President. He has played a major role in the growth of Centric Software, particularly in its go-to market strategy, its expansion to 56 countries, and in securing many of the world’s most visible brands as customers, such as Hugo Boss, Lacoste and Asics.

Centric Software delivers integrated, AI-powered enterprise solutions in the fashion, luxury, footwear, outdoor, home, consumer electronics, food and beverage, cosmetics and personal care as well as multi-category retail sectors. Customers worldwide can plan, design, develop, source, comply, buy, make, price, allocate, assort, sell and replenish products to achieve strategic and operational digital transformation goals. Earlier this year, Centric Software acquired planning, pricing and inventory, product experience management (PXM) and market intelligence functionalities, boosting its position as the concept-to-e-commerce platform provider.
