As a QA Configuration Engineer, you will be part of our Configuration team, which is responsible for developing logic to produce accurate configurations. In addition, you will be responsible for the technical and process aspects of logic development working closely with the Studio and Application Development Departments to support the configurator.
Your day-to-day responsibilities….

You will act as the bridge between the Artists, and Product Data to help address accuracy, functionality, and UX related issues.

Assist the Data teams in establishing logic categories to provide accurate configurations.

Develop technical approaches for providing an optimal user experience.

Identify and contribute to efficiencies in current workflows.

Share and improve on techniques to other members of the team.

Communicate effectively with team to familiarize yourself with proprietary tools and data.

Understand client needs to aid in resolving configuration issues.

Research products to build a strong knowledge of accurate and correct configurations.

Ensure delivery of 3DExcite’s high standard of quality and timeliness through best practices and team coordination.
Your Key success factors…
- Understand of logic gates or Boolean logic - preferred
- Exposure to configurators or customizable user experiences-required
- Strong communication, time management, collaboration, and interpersonal skills-required
- A highly organized and structured approach to new processes
- Weekend and evening hours may be required depending on the project requirements-as needed
- Highly self-motivated, positive attitude with strong work ethics, integrity and a strong level of enthusiasm
- Ability to work independently and within a global collaborative team
Preferred Skills-
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
- 1-3 years of relative experience
- Coding knowledge
- Experience with XML, Python, and SQL
- Experience with JSON (Javasccript object notation)
- Experience Photoshop or image editing
- Automotive industry experience a plus
