PowerFLOW Discretizer Software Engineer
Role Descriptions & Responsibilities
We are looking for a PowerFLOW Discretizer Software Engineer to work on software to automatically prepare simulation ready geometric models for PowerFLOW, Lattice-Boltzmann method (LBM) based fluid solver of Dassault Systemes, using various state-of-the-art geometry operations. AI-based surrogate modeling and physics-based simulation are increasingly being adopted in early-stage design to accelerate design feedback and enable broader exploration of the design space. Both approaches rely on volumetric meshes to either perform numerical simulations or represent and report predicted results.
As a member of the team, you will be responsible for enhancing LBM mesh generation technology using AI-assisted code agent to produce simulation meshes in real-time utilizing the power of GPU computing. Additionally, you will be responsible to develop and support computationally intensive stages of the meshing process using distributed parallelization on large clusters. This is a highly visible, key position in SIMULIA's software development organization offering the opportunity for significant leadership and impact.
Qualifications
· Demonstrated experience delivering successful software development projects
· Experience developing in conjunction with AI code assistant tools – ideally in areas dealing with 3D geometry
· Experience with GPU computing
· Experience with parallel processing
· MS or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or equivalent
· Excellent C++ programming skills
· Experience designing and developing complex object-oriented software
· Solid grounding in computer science
