Role and Responsibilities  

As a product management intern you will get to learn, implement, promote, and work on growth strategies for one of the largest products within the SOLIDWORKS portfolio and get to work on process solutions as SOLIDWORKS transitions towards those in the future

Interns will play an important and critical role in the overall success of these SOLIDWORKS products. You will be part of few new dynamic, fast paced, leading edge, and software development initiatives critical to the future of SOLIDWORKS. You will be exposed to the world of Product Management, Digital and Social Marketing, growth strategies, etc.

You will learn how companies interact with users and customers, research the market, launch products, define and execute marketing strategies of the new and existing industry solutions.

·         Create detailed 3D models in CAD applications and time how long each one took

·         Note down and track any shortcomings or significant difficulties in creating 3D models

·         Create 3D models, animations, images, and promotional content that can be used for marketing purposes

·         Create blog posts to promote products and functionality


·         Actively seeking bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related program

·         Advanced knowledge of SOLIDWORKS CAD or other CAD software

·         Functional use of at least one additional CAD software (Onshape, Fusion 360, etc) preferred

·         Strong functional use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

·         Strong skills using video editing and screen-capture software preferred (Camtasia, iMovie, Adobe Premiere, etc)

·         Positive, self-motivated individual with high level of enthusiasm and willingness to learn and incorporate coaching and instructions into daily tasks and assignments

·         Ability to work independently and/or within a collaborative team structure

·         Ability and willingness to self-learn new and advanced software functions. We want someone who goes after knowledge rather than waiting to be taught

·         Work onsite at Dassault Systèmes in our Waltham office

·         Fluency in English, both written and verbal essential

·         Fluency in Spanish or French will be an added advantage but not mandatory
