What Will Your Role Be?

The mission of Business Development Associate is to generate new qualified opportunities and saturate the sales pipeline, you are a core of DELMIAworks sales engine, Working in partnership with an Account Executive together you will focus on net new qualified pipeline. You will work closely with the sales team to identify new prospects within our core Ideal Customer Profile in the NAM region and execute on BDA outreach, following up in line with our integrated demand generation campaigns and outbound prospecting efforts.  

The Challenges Ahead:

Responsible for identifying, contacting and development of new prospects for ERP/MES software. The BDA role requires both phone and email contact with mid-management and C-Level executives at appropriate manufacturing companies, developing/uncovering new leads through inquiries, list and outbound prospecting efforts to gain BANT (Budget, Authority, Need, Timing) to progress through to the sales qualified opportunity stage.  Work closely, teaming with Account Executives on pipeline generation activities and territory planning strategies. Presenting DELMIAworks to potential clients. Meets or exceeds activity metrics for outbound calls, opportunities accepted by Account Executives and prospecting time. Proactivity looks for opportunities to improve, optimize outbound lead management. 


Your Key Success Factors:

  • 4+ years of proven work experience as a BDA, SDR or inside sales role. 
  • Organized, with effective time and activity management skills
  • Self-starter with drive, taking initiative to achieve goals
  • Competitive spirit
  • Collaborative and a team player
  • Ability to learn key software/CRM applications
  • Background in Enterprise Resource Planning a plus
  • B2B experience in an inside sales or BDA role in a similar type of market (enterprise software, SaaS)
  • Comfortable with ambiguity; highly adaptable to new circumstances
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) 
  • Track record of achieving quota
  • Hands on experience with multiple sales techniques (including phone cold calls, video, email and social touches) 

Compensation for the role will be commensurate with experience. The total expected compensation range will be between $60,000 and $90,000, representing the base salary (or annualized salary based on estimated hourly compensation) and target bonus.
