Laurence Barthès

Executive Vice President, Chief People & Information Officer

Laurence Barthès > Dassault Systèmes®

Laurence Barthès joined Dassault Systèmes in 1987 as head of quality, processes and production engineering at R&D. In 2002, she was appointed Vice President, Customer Support and Satisfaction. In 2008, she was named head of Information Systems and then, in 2009, Executive Vice President, Chief People & Information Officer.

Laurence is tasked with fostering an environment of experiences that enables people to learn, grow and innovate together. Both real and virtual, this environment fosters a purpose and value-driven culture, fuels individual and collective energies, and nurtures knowledge and know-how. It also supports Dassault Systèmes’ continuous transformation and helps attracts the best talent.

Laurence has leveraged the extensive capabilities of the 3DEXPERIENCE® platform to completely transform Dassault Systèmes’ human resources model and approach. This includes deployment of 3DSWYM (See What You Mean), Dassault Systèmes’ social enterprise and collaborative innovation platform, which allows all of the company’s 22,500 employees – whatever their role – to innovate through communities formed around interests, projects or areas of expertise.

Laurence is also responsible for crafting a management model that converges knowledge, facilitates experience-based learning, identifies and recognizes talent, and ultimately spurs innovation.

She is also in charge of developing a physical work environment that fosters collaboration, and as such oversaw the design of Dassault Systèmes’ Paris and Boston campuses, home to the company’s headquarters.

To support all these projects, Laurence is pursuing the digital transformation of the entire organization, based on a global information system combining performance and agility.
