Description

We are providing this Technical Note to inform you of the release of BIOVIA Pipeline Pilot 2018 SP1 HF7 which affects users of the chemistry collection including the Biological Registration, Chemical Registration, and Insight applications.

This hotfix corrects a bug in the Pipeline Pilot 2018 SP1 HF6 Release that caused installation to fail on Linux systems containing certain prior hotfixes. It thus replaces Pipeline Pilot 2018 SP1 HF6 for customers affected by that bug. We anticipate that few customers will require this hotfix. It includes the following fixed issues:

PCHE-7849 - The Pipeline Pilot 2018 SP1 installer now includes an updated BIOVIA Desktop Connector with certificates that expire on September 4, 2021. Running the Desktop Connector in Legacy mode is supported through the new expiration date.

CMRE-7357 - Hotfix 2018 SP1 HF6 fails to install when certain combinations of previous hotfixes are present.

PCHE-7827 - In Pipette Sketcher version 3.2.7, the stereo center configuration is now preserved when loading V2000 molfiles that contain molecules with one stereo center marked as AND ENANTIOMER (chiral flag Off). In previous versions, the configuration of the stereo center was being changed to ABS.

BIOVIA released Pipeline Pilot 2018 SP1 HF7 in February 2020, and it is available by contacting BIOVIA Support.
