Description

We are providing this Technical Note to inform you about the release of BIOVIA Draw 2021 SP1, which includes the following:

Enhancements

DRAW-16667 - Added support for developers to easily add an image file to the canvas a nonchemical Object

DRAW-16713 - Added support for removing 5' Phosphate from any RNA/DNA sequence chain

DRAW-16720 - You can now save N and C terminal templates using "Save As SCSR Template" Workflow

DRAW-16764 - Added a proxy configuration option to enable outbound communication when launching Draw using the DrawBridge service

DRAW-16773 - Added an option for adding custom DAT groups to custom abbreviations

DRAW-16815 - The custom URL set for an InChI Key search is no longer changed when a Journal setting is changed

DRAW-16817 - Improved the alignment of sequence templates

DRAW-16823 - Updated support for reserved characters $ | : - , [ ] { } ( ) while creating the Templates from Draw and also added support for HELM conversions

Fixed Defects

DRAW-16662 - HELM modifications for Map Residue operations are now recognized

DRAW-16794 - Draw will no longer crash when closing the application while the Sequence Template Manager dialog is open

DRAW-16797 - The DrawBridge component now generates proper images that are not cropped

DRAW-16865 - RNA/DNA sequences imported from HELM strings can now be edited by right-clicking and choosing Modify Residue (Granular)

DRAW-16663 - Draw now can generate a HELM string for any modified sequence residue

DRAW-16712 - Draw now can generate HELM strings using CHEM templates Resolution
