Description

We are providing this Technical Note to inform you about the release of BIOVIA Foundation 2020 SP1 Hot Fix 1, which includes the following:

Fixed Defects

DAT-18960: Switching to a different collaborative space when using Internet Explorer 11 now takes effect without having to log out and in again

DAT-19719: The Retest Task and Split Task actions now correctly copy planned task-level parameter values from the original task to the new tasks. If the parameters whose planned values were copied are defined on the activity, matching default actual values are also set on the new tasks. However, if the parameters were added using Compose, no actual values are set.

DAT-19739: When a task's planned values are edited in the Task Planner Edit Task window and the Use Latest Activity flag is set, the task now correctly transitions to its In Progress lifecycle state.

DAT-19757: Activity Result pivot now correctly displays units for quantity columns that are marked "Group By Value for Pivot."

DAT-19860: A newly assigned Task Plan owner can now perform the same operations on a task plan as the original creator, including Assign, Retest, Complete, Correction Needed, Release, Abandon, Suspend/Resume, Request, and Recall.

DAT-19886: Split action on an in progress task now correctly sets the split task to either draft, submitted, or assigned based on data in Requested Group and Assignee fields.

SEC-6573: The list of quantity units is now displayed in the selections for the task context CSV template on the data preview page.

SEC-6598: In certain situations, the Activity Results tab contained an empty result row for a sample that has results. This empty result row is created when the task is created (before results exist), and should be removed after the sample has actual results, but in some cases was not. The empty result row is now removed correctly

DAT-19725: Administrators with View Equipment can now access the Equipment and Equipment Type lifecycle button in Admin & Settings. Customers should review the signature policies assigned to the equipment lifecycle actions to ensure they are configured correctly in light of View Equipment holders having access to the button.

DAT-19737: Corrected issues with Task Split when applied to the first sample with associated task-level results.

DAT-19748: Task Planner Import Task dialog was revised so Sample List is no longer in the default view.

DAT-19767: Hub Capture no longer overwrites values for task-level parameters which were added via Activity window.

DAT-19861: Activity Results pivot has been corrected for specific data shapes so Group By remains set after Pivot on Value is applied on another column.
