Background

This is an informative note regarding the recent release for Pipeline Pilot 2023 SP1 affecting customers entitled to the use of Biological and/or Chemical Registration.

Solution

As part of 2023 SP1, unlike previous update releases, we have bundled the existing Golden Release for Biological and Chemical Registration. They have been merged into the 2023 SP1 release to facilitate the installation process.

Notice that there is no new features or bug fixes to the Biological or Chemical Registration packages included under the 2023 SP1.

Should you apply Pipeline Pilot 2023 SP1 installer to an existing 2023 installation with Biological or Chemical Registration and would like to deploy Biological or Chemical Registration, the applications packages will remain untouched, but need to be selected during the installation process.

In the scenario that you are moving from a supported previous release other than 2023, you can deploy directly Biological and Chemical Registration 2023 by installing Pipeline Pilot 2023 SP1.
