Background

BIOVIA users have reported issues originated as result of the use of deprecated TLS standards (TLS 1.0 and TLS 1.1) when communicating with third party systems using BIOVIA products.

The rationale behind the TLS deprecation is beyond our control and it comes as result of changes in industry standards to enhance the security during the information exchange.

These changes may affect older versions of BIOVIA applications.

Solution

We would like to emphasize that most recent versions of the BIOVIA products build support for TLS 1.2 and are unaffected.

If any TLS related issues arise, we recommend the upgrade to the latest product release.
