Description

An issue was found where BIOVIA Pipeline Pilot 2023 does not generate maps using the Dashboards Collection. Report protocols containing the “Marker Geo Chart (HTML5)” component or the “Region Geo Chart (HTML5)” component run without error, but the maps do not appear in the report. The console of the browser tools (displayed by pressing F12) may indicate that the file map.js could not be loaded.

Resolution

This issue is being investigated and will be addressed in a future release. In the interim, administrators can add the library needed for map creation directly to the Highcharts instance already installed with Pipeline Pilot Server:

1. Download and extract the following archive: https://code.highcharts.com/zips/Highcharts-Maps-10.2.1.zip.
2. From the archive, copy the file “/code/modules/map.js“ into the “/apps/scitegic/report2/dataroot/highcharts/10.2.1/modules“ subfolder of the Pipeline Pilot Server install directory.

After these steps, reports with maps can be viewed.  You do not need to restart the services for this update to take effect.
