Description

We are providing this Technical Note to inform you about the release of BIOVIA Draw 2022, which includes the following:  

Enhancements

DRAW-14543 - Draw now marks Unknown Potential centers

DRAW-14595 - Draw now displays Stereo labels for true stereogenic centers only

DRAW-11663 - Draw now displays Stereodescriptor r/s for pseudo-asymmetric atoms

DRAW-13936 - Added a tool to draw non-chemical single brackets

DRAW-16668 - RTF content is now supported on the canvas

DRAW-16672 - Sequence Clean now cleans reactions

DRAW-16717 - You can now type 3-letter labels to add amino acids

DRAW-16718 - Added shortcut keys F-11 and F-12 for expanding and contracting sequences and sequence residues

DRAW-16751 - Added an option to delete a reagent when right-clicking

DRAW-16776 - Increased the sharpness of chemistry template icons

DRAW-16204 - BIOVIA Pipette Sketcher can now be launched from Draw (requires Pipeline Pilot server), and structures can be transferred between Draw and Pipette Sketcher

DRAW-15280 - Draw now always has focus when launched from Insight for Excel

DRAW-15310 - Sequence with custom labels now display three letter code in Structure view

DRAW-16247 - Draw now displays R/S E/Z and M/P labels for templates on the canvas

DRAW-16752 - An issue was fixed with search function of the Reagent Editor

DRAW-17086 - Fixed an issue where Molecule to Chemical Structure did not correctly convert simple halogen names, such as Iodine, Chlorine, and so on

DRAW-17089 - HELM strings that contain SMILES are now parsed successfully

DRAW-16658 - The shortcuts for Atom Numbering and Display Atom Numbers is now Ctrl+9, and Refresh Atom Numbers is Shift+Ctrl+9

DRAW-16701 - Updated the CIP dialog title to match the title in the settings

DRAW-16869 - Renamed the NEMA option in Chemistry > Generate Text From Structure to NEMA Key
