These commands use regex to parse the instrument response and support multiple capture groups, multiple instrument command steps, variables, and the ability to aggregate multiple steps (or reset the data in a new step).

When importing activities, recipes, activity plans, equipment, and locations it is possible their sequence numbers (method ID, specification ID, barcode, or location ID) can conflict with one that is already in the destination environment. Import now offers an option "apply new sequence" that updates these IDs to a non-conflicting value. The sequence number will be updated by appending "-01" to the existing sequence number. Example: a procedure activity has a Method ID of BP000023. If that value conflicts with the destination environment, the procedure activity's (and recipe's) Method ID is updated to be BP000023-01 if the "update sequence number" option is selected. If the option is disabled, the activity cannot be imported because of the Method ID conflict.
