Description

We are providing this Technical Note to inform you about the release of BIOVIA Isentris 2020 SP1 that includes the following enhancements and fixed defects:

Enhancements

This release of BIOVIA Isentris includes the following enhancements.

ISN-20805 — BIOVIA Isentris 2020 SP1 is now based on the Adopt OpenJDK 8 HotSpot.

ISN-20913 — Isentris is no longer supported with Citrix XenApp and TIBCO Spotfire. As however no code changes were made with regard to this Isentris still might work with these 3rd party software.

Fixed Defects

This release of BIOVIA Isentris includes the following fixed defects.

ISN-20629 — The Isentris Admin Scripting Tool no longer fails to start due to an invalid file reference in the start script.

ISN-20669 — The BIOVIA Workbook 2021 Client installer no longer corrupts the BIOVIA Draw registry settings which in turn made the Isentris Client fail to start.

ISN-20104 — The Data Source Builder no longer allows to add more than one configuration for the same root connector in an IDS.

ISN-20370 — The Installation Guide for Microsoft Windows now includes notes that Isentris must not be installed into a path that includes blanks.

ISN-20604 — The Isentris login no longer fails when using Windows Authentication Provider and the user is a member of hundreds of Active Directory groups.

ISN-20829 — The Export to Excel function in Isentris Client now handles Japanese characters correctly.

ISN-20839 — User settings defined for the 'Find Related' function in the Isentris ribbon of Insight for Excel for Isentris are now persistent between Excel sessions.
