Description

We are providing this Technical Note to inform you about the release of BIOVIA Draw 2022 HF3, which includes the following:  

Fixed Defects

Client side: the following issue was fixed in the DrawBridge.exe:

• DRAW-17538 - Fixed an issue where the DrawBridge component experienced intermittent performance issues when transferring a structure

Instabilities inside DrawBridge.exe were identified where it could happen that the image creation/serialization failed causing the transfer back into the web application to fail. In order to benefit from this fix, all client PCs that are using the DrawBridge need the new Draw version HF3 to be installed.

Server side:

• an issue was found in the Java server code example where instabilities were observed when a number of concurrent users launched the DrawBridge at the same time. A change was made in the following Java server code routine:

                                DrawBridge.java -> public UpdateData getUpdatedDraw (…

Developers of web applications using the DrawBridge sample code may consider updating their code with this change.
