Description

BIOVIA Compose is supported with the following versions of other BIOVIA applications:

Foundation 2019 HF3 and 2019 SP1

Pipeline Pilot 2019

Workbook 2018 SP1 HF2 and Workbook 2019 HF2

CISPro 2019 HF2 and 2019 SP1

BIOVIA Compose is a full installer, which can be used for new installations.

It contains fixes for the following issues :

CAPT-2288 - The overall performance of Capture has been improved.

CAPT-2306 - Vocabulary Parameters, with planned and actual expressions, now work as expected.

CAPT-2152 - Units in Capture are automatically selected in the following order of precedence: actual value unit, planned value unit, default unit, first selected unit (defined in Foundation Hub for the Parameter Template).

CAPT-2266 - Materials, with special characters in the Name, can now be successfully registered with BIOVIA CISPro.

CAPT-2310 - Capture will now calculate ratio correctly if dividend, divisor and quotient are identical.

CAPT-2317 - Able to abandon a step when the step is repeated using the repeat button from the Recipe layout.

PROP-8191 - Fixed a defect that prevented users from cancelling out of the Expression Editor in certain rare cases.

PROP-8258 - Files with special characters in the file name can now be uploaded to Compose using an IE11 browser.

PROP-8259 - Parameters that have been altered from quantity type to numeric type can now be mapped to equipment when used in a Recipe.

PROP-8337 - Calculation Expressions on Batch Job Actions now point to the correct step.

PROP-8400 - Improved the performance of saving a Recipe in Compose when there are more than 6 Parallel Branches.

PROP-8407 - Summary Expressions properly support Regular Expressions

PROP-8447 - The Compose Process page loads the Process Element Template Toolbox only when necessary rather than repeatedly.

PROP-8456 - Mapping information is not retained on cloned materials, enabling cloned materials to be mapped to other equipment.

PROP-8458 - Loading time of complex Recipes with file attachments has been improved.

PROP-8459 - Execution of large Recipes against multiple Samples is no longer blocked by an error.

PROP-8463 - The Parameter's Default Constraint is now set to the correct value when process steps are repeated by 'Repeat per Sample'.

PROP-8474 - Cloning of large, complex Recipes is no longer blocked by an error.

PROP-8482 - Process Tree will now operate correctly when you move/clone a step in a complex Recipe (more than 6 Parallel Blocks, 30 Parameters/Step).

PROP-8483 - Steps will be renumbered correctly upon moving or cloning the steps in a complex, large Recipe.

PROP-8500 - The removal of an invalid expression on an Activation Condition will now persist after saving the expression and saving the Recipe.

PROP-8552 - Parallel block predecessors are now cleared when moving Process Elements across parallel blocks which prevents pointing to an inaccessible predecessor.

PROP-8554 - Material mappings and properties persist properly when a Recipe is re-opened.

PROP-8557 - Unit constraints on a Parameter template that have been deleted are not removed when loading Parameter templates so that equipment mappings will remain valid.

PROP-8559 - Fixed a defect that caused a Recipe to be un-editable when it contains a Parameter that was derived from a Parameter Template that was changed from a Quantity value type to a Vocabulary Value type due to erroneous default constraint data.

PROP-8143 - Operations and Actions will remain expanded after setting or removing a predecessor.

PROP-8408 - A large, complex Recipe containing greater than 6 Parallel Branches can now be edited.

PROP-8452 - The Compose Process page loads Method Categories only when necessary rather than multiple times.

PROP-8453 - Performance has been improved by using a locally cached file to access Hub Units and Vocabularies.

PROP-8461 - The proper indexes have been added to the Compose table, AUD_COR_WORKFLOW, to improve performance.

PROP-8476 - File attachments will now contain only necessary data rather than a large amount of unused data.

PROP-8486 - Compose no longer appears frozen when a Generic Stage is added to a large Recipe.

PROP-8487 - Compose no longer appears frozen when an empty Generic Stage is removed from a large Recipe.

PROP-8489 - Activation conditions were unnecessarily being calculated and persisted in Compose on the first open of a cloned or imported Recipe.

PROP-8495 - Load time of large, complex Recipes has been improved.

PROP-8509 - Parameter Concept name now renders after save and refresh.

PROP-8520 - The Parameter Context setting in the Display Field is no longer overwritten when the user clicks in/out of the Parameter's Display Name field.

PROP-8531 - When the 'Start Parallel' node in a Recipe is selected, it will not prompt the user to save if the user has not made any changes to the Recipe.

Resolution

BIOVIA Compose has been released in March 2019. We recommend this Hot Fix for all BIOVIA Compose running earlier BIOVIA Compose versions.
