In BIOVIA Foundation, Compose, and Capture 2026, there is a Known Issue where Execution Reports can fail as a result of a missing dependency on GTK. If you encounter an error running the Execution Report, please follow the steps below:
Note: Directions are also formally noted in the BIOVIA Foundation, Compose, and Capture 2026 Product Release Document under the Known Issue: PROP-13009.
Resolution
- Navigate to https://github.com/tschoonj/GTK-for-Windows-Runtime-Environment-Installer/releases
- From the 2022-01-04 section, download the gtk3-runtime-3.24.31-2022-01-04-ts-win64.exe
- Run the above .exe file and take all the default options when prompted.
- Perform Steps 1–3 on each Pipeline Pilot Server.
- Log out of Foundation Hub.
- Log into Foundation Hub.
- The Execution Report should now run successfully.
