We are providing this Technical Note to inform you about the release of BIOVIA Notebook 2025 that includes the following fixed issues:
Enhancements
This release of BIOVIA Notebook 2025 includes the following enhancements:

| CELN-12629 | Data Archive now leverages authentication and user management system of Notebook, eliminating the need for separate user management in Data Archive, as well as the need to synchronize users from Notebook. |
| CELN-14160 | The sidebar menu has been updated and is now labeled as 'Packages' for improved navigation and clarity. |
| CELN-14230 | Access to Data Archive packages created by other users is now governed by Notebook project permissions, requiring the new 'Read Package' permission on the referenced projects. Users can add project references to their own packages, if they have the 'Add Package' permission on those projects. |
| CELN-14109 | Users can now adjust column widths in drop-down lists within the experiment editor and administration pages, and column headers include tool-tip information messages for added clarity. |
Fixed Defects
This release of BIOVIA Notebook 2025 includes the following fixed defects:

| CELN-12932 | Data Archive now validates the signatures and extensions of uploaded files by default, including zipped file contents, to ensure only allowed file types are accepted. The default forbidden file types list can be overridden via configuration. |
| CELN-13965 | Task plans with over 100 result items can now be imported to Notebook in their entirety, removing previous import limitations. |
| CELN-14136 | r The Windows Desktop Connector Client has been updated to ensure compatibility with Windows regional settings set to Turkish. |
| CELN-14158 | The lock and unlock functionality for the contributor's sections is now working as expected. |
| CELN-14165 | The EmailAlertService now functions correctly, even when templates have assigned collaborators. |
| CELN-14185 | Task plans with item names containing the ampersand (&) character can now be successfully imported into Notebook. |
| CELN-14200 | Database passwords for Notebook system users are now set correctly when installing the Notebook Oracle database in a non-default schema. |
| CELN-14226 | Fixed an issue where structure searches in the Chemical Reaction section would fail when initiated from the Advanced Search dialog. |
| CELN-10249 | The Download button on the Data Archive package editor page is now correctly enabled after the package archiving process is complete. |
| CELN-14232 | Co-signers with only co-sign permission on a project can now read the associated experiment after co-signing is completed. |
Enhancements - Component Collection
This release includes the following enhancements.

Fixed Defects - Component Collection
This release of BIOVIA Notebook 2025 Component Collection for Pipeline Pilot includes the following fixed defects:
