The Munich-based CAIQ GmbH – claiming “computer-aided creativity” – originates from a merger between the former FCMS GmbH and the well-known CAE service provider ISKO engineers AG, effective from July 1st, 2020. Our engineering staff of about 50 experts represents more than two decades of practical industry experience with focus on the German automotive OEMs, suppliers and machinery. Established business areas are comprehensive CAE services, engineering process solutions including simulation management (data, processes, workflows, and projects) as well as the technical focus of former FCMS GmbH on CATIA V5 improvements and enhancements as a long time Dassault adopter partner for the CATIA development platform. Our premium software product FCM – Fast Concept Modeller – as an embedded series of software modules, allows CATIA V5 users to seamlessly and associatively connect to any CAE-Tool and thus offer a completely integrated CAD-CAE-process solution. Beyond that, large shape changes may be performed without any loss of accuracy. This is a specific FCM-USP, which overcomes the classical barrier of higher flexibility versus lower accuracy and allows changes previously limited to concept design to be applied in late stages of product development.
