3CS FEA Compliant Modeler (CM) for V6 empowers the user to incorporate Finite Element Analysis (FEA) into Dimensional Analysis. 3DCS CM for V6 adds the ability to apply FEA Mesh to parts and features that link material properties to node points. When analyzing process variation, the software deforms the part geometry based on process and force input from assembly processes such as welding, clamping, bending, bolting and more.As part of a 3DCS Variation Analyst simulation, 3DCS CM for V6 adds another level of realism, and increases the accuracy of analysis results when working with compliant and flexible assemblies rather than rigid body components. This becomes especially useful when working with aluminum and other flexible materials commonplace in the aerospace and automotive industries.

Motion Capture for Assembly Simulation is part of the IV6 system, and is a dedicated focus on interactive Assembly and Maintenance Simulation within 3D Experience software. More than creating physics in your environment, it will also allow you to make use of haptic devices (Virtuose, Inca, Able) right in your working environment.IV6’s main asset comes from its realistic gesture of body physics, based on Haption’s latest physic simulation technology: IPSI. This add-on provides you with the capabilities to manage interaction between devices and set their properties, while still allowing you to use every base function of 3DEXPERIENCE. You will be able to experience gravity, feel contact forces, record object motion in tracks, and have a precision up to sub-millimeters level in your very own virtual environment, just a click away from your session. Recreating environments conform to the reality is therefore really simple, and will allow you to do maintenance and assembly studies long before the product is created.The integration of haptic devices straight into the software will allow you a deep interaction using 6DOF force feedback devices, such as our Virtuose, Inca or Able devices. 3DCS Mechanical Modeler for V6 is specially geared for the mechanical world. 3DCS Mechanical Modeler is an easy to use add-on that allows users to model mechanical and kinematic assemblies with full range of motion. These assemblies use new joint and constraint assembly definitions instead of the 3-2-1 move routines which allow automatic extraction of the assembly process, making the modeling process faster and easier. This, in addition to a new kinematic solver that allows tolerance analysis of over-constrained assemblies, makes 3DCS Mechanical an excellent fit for performing variation analysis on engines, switches, gears and other mechanical components.

Theorem’s bi-directional CADverter V6 NX CADverter reads and writes both V6 and Siemens NX data, converting assembly data (product structure) Exact Brep solids and surfaces, tessellated data, PMI (product manufacturing information) and colour.The V6 NX CADverter integrated within the V6 environment enables bi-directional file and PDM collaboration scenarios. It can be used interactively or in batch mode depending upon a user's requirements. As standard, this particular product has been designed specifically to be incorporated into process oriented operations and so is integrated and runs under the management of the V6 infrastructure.The V6 converted data can then be used anywhere within the V6 environment, in all applications (CATIA, DELMIA, SIMULIA, ENOVIA) enabling supply chains with mixed V6 and NX environments the ability to collaborate more efficiently.Theorem’s CADverter also provides the ability to convert NX into 3DXML files for collaboration with all applications collaborating through this format, such as CATIA, DELMIA, SIMULIA, ENOVIA, 3DVIA and 3DSWYM.
