Technical Executive for UK Defence
We are hiring a Technical Executive for our UK Defence team either in our Warwick or London office - in the role you will be accountable for ensuring technical excellence, solution credibility, and customer value realization across the UK Defence sector. This role drives the technical execution of the Customer Engagement Framework, ensuring that 3DS solutions are architected, validated, and communicated effectively to meet client transformation objectives.
The Technical Executive for UK Defence serves as the trusted technical authority for key customers, bridging the gap between business vision and solution implementation. They guide technical teams, safeguard solution quality, and ensure alignment with both customer strategy and 3DS portfolio evolution.
Role & Responsibilities
- Define and execute the technical strategy for key UK Defence accounts, ensuring alignment with customer transformation objectives and the Dassault Systèmes portfolio roadmap
- Lead the Customer Engagement process, translating customer business challenges into compelling, value-driven solution strategies and architectures
- Act as the senior technical authority for customer engagements, overseeing solution design, architecture, integration, and technical governance
- Partner with Client Executives and Industry Growth Leads to identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities within the UK Defence sector
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams including Solution Architects, Industry Process Consultants, and Business Consultants throughout customer engagement phases
- Oversee technical deliverables for proposals, tenders, and RFx responses, ensuring consistency, quality, and alignment with customer requirements
- Build trusted relationships with customer executives, technical leaders, and transformation sponsors while acting as the voice of the customer within Dassault Systèmes
- Drive continuous improvement through technical innovation, risk management, governance, and the development of reusable assets, methodologies, and best practices
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience in solution architecture, technical consulting, or pre-sales for complex enterprise software
- Strong understanding of UK Defence sector processes, business challenges, and technology landscape
- Expertise in Model-Based Systems Engineering and its application in the UK Defence sector
- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills — with the ability to influence at executive levels
- Experience with the Customer Engagement or similar value-based selling frameworks preferred
- Must have the legal right to work in the UK and be eligible for an application for defence security clearance.
