SIMULIA User Request Engineer – Structural Mechanics

Role Description:

• Ph D degree in Engineering (with emphasis on Solid Mechanics and Finite Element Analysis), or M.Tech with at least 5 years’ experience doing finite element analysis in a production environment

Required Skills:

• Strong background in Solid Mechanics, FEA and Structural dynamics (Concepts and theory)

• Sound knowledge and understanding of linear and nonlinear structural finite-element modeling

• Excellent problem-solving skills

• Superior verbal and written communication skills in English    

 Helpful Skills:

• Knowledge of and experience with Abaqus is preferred, particularly in a production environment. Experience with ANSYS, MARC, NASTRAN, or LS-DYNA will be useful

• Experience in the areas of nonlinear structural mechanics and structural dynamics is a plus
