We are looking for a Service Sales Support Specialist to support our Service Sales team in managing key commercial and proposal activities related to service sales opportunities.
The role will be responsible for preparing high-quality sales and bid support documents, coordinating internal inputs, and ensuring timely submission and system closure of commercial documents.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Service Sales Expert and field sales team in day-to-day service sales activities
- Build early-stage services rough order of magnitude services proposals based on input received from the field sales team
- Prepare bid process supporting documents such as qualification documents, review board meeting presentations etc.
- Prepare Statements of Work (SOW) documents and drive them through the internal approval system for reviews and closure
- Develop RFQ/RFP response documents in coordination with internal stakeholders
- Prepare quotations, proposals, and other commercial documentation
- Coordinate with sales, legal, operations, finance, and technical teams to collect required inputs
- Maintain accurate records in CRM/ERP and ensure documentation is complete and up to date
- Track proposal, contract, and customer documentation status to support timely submission and closure
- Support customer follow-up and internal coordination to ensure smooth execution of service sales processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Engineering, or a related field
- 5 + years of experience in sales support, proposal management, bid coordination, commercial operations, or service sales support
- Experience in preparing ROM proposals, SOW documents, and RFP responses is strongly preferred
- Strong written communication and document preparation skills
- Good organizational skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work across multiple functions and manage deadlines effectively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM/ERP systems
Preferred Background
- Experience in Presales, service sales, after-sales support, technical services, or industrial/commercial environments
- Exposure to contract review workflows and legal coordination processes
