INTERNSHIP: Global Competitive Intelligence (Fall 2025- FT)
Role Description & Responsibilities
Our Dassault Systemes global competitive intelligence Team is excited to announce we have a hybrid internship opportunity available in our Waltham, MA office!
As a member of the global competitive intelligence team, you will be responsible for providing operational support and providing background CI research for competitive intelligence deliverables within 3DS, with a focus on actionable competitive/market intelligence-based deliverables to support sales and marketing efforts.
In this operations role at 3DS, you would assist the team operationally by managing dashboards, handling new memberships to our community, assisting with tracking key metrics, and assisting with the monthly newsletters and other communications. Addition work can include conducting primary and secondary research to capture and produce CI (Competitive Intelligence) content related to competitors’ product offerings and selling/marketing strategies and activities.
You would be expected to:
· Participate in the development, delivery and presentations of competitive sales enablement materials, and facilitate the application of competitive knowledge in sales and marketing activities.
· Conduct ad hoc research to provide CI support for strategy, as well as sales and marketing initiatives and opportunities.
· Coordinate and support internal CI webinar events and programs
· Maintain internal competitive intelligence dashboards and repository
· Maintain monthly contributor awards and newsletter
· Manage member on-boarding process to introduce personnel to the CI resources
· Assist with coordinating, planning and execution of company-wide CI activities at key events and consolidate and report back critical findings and implications
· Ensure all CI activities are conducted in accordance with financial and ethical compliance guidelines
Qualifications
Some knowledge of the following areas is invaluable:
· You have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and/or Business and must be currently enrolled in a graduate degree program. You must have a 3.0 or higher GPA.
· Analytical reasoning abilities, intellectual curiosity, strong business acumen, and creativity in problem solving
· Ability to be agile & nimble to changing business conditions, strong collaboration, and teamwork across functional groups to contribute to a productive work culture.
· Experience with data analytics tools and systems, ability to explore technical avenues to improve/expand the experiences of the consumers of CI content within 3DS
· You have strong English language skills (written and oral)
The following areas are not required but nice to have:
· Experience with production of multimedia online content including editing/use of Camtasia
· You can demonstrate a broad technical and business knowledge.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work on open ended assignments independently are crucial. We are a small team serving a very large internal user community, so precision, accuracy, and attention to detail matters.
