Compensation Analyst (New York)
Location: Hybrid

Responsibilities:
- Participate and support global annual compensation review process including but not limited to – merit, promotions, performance, bonus and equity.
- Conduct data analysis to support strategic compensation decision.
- Ensure compensation data accuracy across HRIS systems/platforms and actively partnership with HR Technology team on system automation and enhancement.
- Be a compensation partner to key stakeholders to understand business needs and proactively identify necessary solutions.
- Support in creating the Total Reward training and presentation.
- Manage compensation operational activities including but not limited to: People Support Ticket system, compensation system interface, Compliance and Audit, Payroll interface, Finance Accrual etc.
- Partnership with HR Operations team in managing Rewards and Recognition programs reporting and vendor management.
- Support data analysis for executives' compensation.
- Administrate compensation policies and procedures to ensure consistency and equity.
- Maintains a working knowledge of federal and state legislation influencing compensation.
- Participates in corporate M&A Projects (e.g. development of methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for projects, programs, and people.)
- Ability to work across-functionally to participate in projects and activities based on the business requirements and global compliance needs.
Qualifications:
- Excellent analytical skills to manage large complex sets of data with the ability to interpret and present compensation data and insight.
- Self-motivated and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high growth, changing environments delivering pressing daily needs
- Willingness to pitch in and collaborate in a hands-on manner and High Attention to Details
- Undergraduate degree in finance, business, human resources management, or related field preferred
- Understanding of economic and accounting principles and practices and the analysis and reporting of financial data
- Strong interpersonal communications effectiveness, including verbal, written, presentation and persuasion skills.
- The minimum education level required Bachelor's degree.
- 3-5 years' experience managing compensation analysis and/or administration ideally in a public company.
- Advanced skill level in Excel/PowerPoint
As with all roles, Medidata sets ranges based on a number of factors including function, level, candidate expertise and experience, and geographic location.
- The salary range for positions that will be physically based in the NYC Metro Area is $96,000 to $128,000
Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Medidata provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for a commission on the terms of applicable plan documents, and many of Medidata's non-sales positions are eligible for annual bonuses. Inclusion statement
Compensation for the role will be commensurate with experience. The total expected compensation range will be between $96000 and $128000, representing the base salary (or annualized salary based on estimated hourly compensation) and target bonus.
