Simulation Moldflow is an advanced injection molding process simulation tool for predicting and eliminating potential manufacturing problems and optimizing part design, mold design, and the injection molding process itself. The results of a Moldflow simulation can include calculations of material properties and residual stresses in the plastic part. SIMULIA's Interface for MOLDFLOW provides a link between MPI and Abaqus by translating finite element model information, including material property and residual stress data, from a Moldflow analysis into a partial Abaqus input file. Abaqus can then be used to perform subsequent structural and/or thermal analysis of the pre-stressed molded component for which accurate, spatially varying material properties are defined.Simulation CFD provides a multiphysics capability to Abaqus users by adding heat transfer and fluid flow to their analysis process. Simulation CFD produces reliable simulations of high-speed turbulent and incompressible flow, as well as conduction and convective heat transfer. The tool interfaces with Abaqus by supplying simulation results to an Abaqus input file to provide an explicit Fluid-Structural Interaction analysis process. Enabling users to include pressures and thermally-induced loading in their structural analysis results in a more accurate structural analysis. Simulation Composite Analysis is an add-on for commercial finite element analysis (FEA) packages delivering multi-scale and progressive failure technologies for analyzing composite materials. Simulation Composite Analysis integrates seamlessly with Abaqus/Standard FEA to provide users with state-of-the-art modeling capability for unidirectional and woven fiber-reinforced composite materials.Simulation Composite Analysis is employed via a graphical user interface (GUI) within the Abaqus/Standard environment.
